MAC-address and geolocation

Google - the good corporation. Therefore, Google collects information about the physical location of devices through which people surf the Internet. That's all from a great love for humanity, obviously.

And here is a good example. Let's do the following:

1. Learn MAC-address of the router through which you surf the Internet. Your choice: go to its web-based interface to arp-request (arp my.router / arp router.local / arp 192.168.0.1 / arp 192.168.1.1, depending which model. Usually, something like that).

2. We come down here.
http: / / samy.pl / mapxss /

3. Hammered into the text box MAC-address and click Search MAC. "

Me on the "LAN MAC Address" is not found, but on Wireless MAC Address - just the same
