Do u know that ICQ saves your messages to log files on ICQ server? ICQ server is property of AOL (America Online, USA). And according to US laws they have to cooperate with FBI/NSA/US Secret Service and other federal services.

But here we collide with a difficulties - everyone use various ICQ clients, and to force all to migrate on the one special client is impossible. Thats why different crypto-plugins are not complete solution.

Also systems, which transmit encryption open (public) key through ICQ server are not solution also. MITM-key-subst attack can be used by AOL guys.

As complete solution we recommend you this russian-made system. It does not depend on ICQ client and it does not transmit encryption keys through ICQ server.

The system is like local (on your computer) SOCKS5 server. You configure ICQ client to use it, software takes your ICQ traffic and encrypts messages bodies by the RSA2048 and some additional encryptions.

Moreover each UIN has a separate key pair. ON ALL WAY FROM THE SENDER UP TO THE ADDRESSEE, message is encrypted. Nobody can determine content of your message. Including us.
